I wish I still posted in this regularly. But frankly, there's a good chance that no one will even be able to read this, because I lost the domain name a year ago.
What's currently happening in my life?
1. I'm unemployed.
2. I will be employed as an income tax preparer starting next month.
3. I turned 30.
4. I'm dating a 24-year-old. (It's not going to last, but he is HOT.)
5. As a result of 3 and 4, I suddenly feel like I look SUPER OLD in every photograph.
6. I was dating about 8 guys at one point. But the two that I thought had great potential both basically disappeared on me, and the two that I'm REALLY not interested in keep coming back. (I don't like playing "games", but this is making me question whether that theory of "men chase you if you ignore them, and run if you chase them" is actually water-bearing.)
7. I just finished playing Emilia in Othello, for which I received a great deal of encouraging praise.
8. I moved to the east side of LA, which is weird, as I've been a west-sider up until now.
9. My new roommate is just terrific. His name is Zach and he's both a painter and an actor (he played Othello in the production I was in).
10. I'm producing a play in town, so the next few months should be interesting.
11. I was in a karaoke league during the fall, which was super fun, and way more stressful than it should have been. (It's how I met the 24-year-old... he was on a rival team.)
12. I don't read frequently enough.
13. I'm addicted to technology in a completely unhealthy way.
14. Generally, my life is good.
