Blog Day!!!

It seems like everyone else is celebrating Blog Day, so I figured I should get in on the fun!

Blog Day 2008

BlogDay posting instructions:

1. Find 5 new Blogs that you find interesting
2. Notify the 5 bloggers that you are recommending them as part of BlogDay 2008
3. Write a short description of the Blogs and place a link to the recommended Blogs
4. Post the BlogDay Post (on August 31st) and
5. Add the BlogDay tag using this link:
http://technorati.com/tag/BlogDay2008 and a link to the BlogDay web site at http://www.blogday.org

- Insight into my world -- It's written by a girl named Julia who is about to begin her freshman year of college. I'm madly in love with her blog, and I have to recommend it highly. She's a smart cookie, and her posts are journeys. The way she thinks reminds me a little of myself. Seriously, go check her out.

- Back From the Dead -- She's studying how to be a professional makeup artist for movies and stuff, and she posts the COOLEST pictures of what she's doing. I think it's fascinating. (P.S. She happens to be Jamie Lovely's sister!)

- Desert Shadows -- Amy is a 20-something from Australia. She's funny, and you can tell just from reading her "About Me" section that she's a spunky, likable person.

- The Tambourine Queen -- Chele is a professional model, but she's NOT an airhead. She's the kind of model who proves the stereotypes are wrong. It's awesome to look at her photo shoots, and also to read her stories about what's going on backstage, as well as in the rest of her life.

- Rachel Skirts -- Sadly, I never got a chance to meet this Chicago chick before my move. But this girl is ALL personality. Just check out her profile pic and you can see the sass. Always a fun read.

Enjoy those, everybody!

And share the Blog Day love!!!

How come I never hear about these things? Everyone's celebrating it? I never even heard about it at all, this year, last year, any year...

If I made a list of my top five, yours would be on the top, though.
