Today is the first day of the offers period.
The offers period is 3 weeks long.
I have officially received an offer from an MFA Program in Acting.
(The guy actually called me from home, as it's President's Day.)
ETA: It's the school in Florida
I have three weeks to decide whether to accept it.
And I might receive more offers within the next three weeks.
I'll be going out to visit the school and talking with current students and recent graduates to decide if it's the right decision for me.
And if I get other offers, my indecisive nature might turn out to be a problem...

Congrats! Getting an offer on the first day is certainly good news, and that news couldn't have come to a more deserving person.

Is the Florida school the ones that's in the middle of the state and has a reptile for a mascot (I'm trying to help keep your comments from coming up googleable)? Anyway, if so, shoot me an email or message at 20SB if you want to ask any questions about the city or anything. I wasn't in the MFA program, but I have a few friends who are so I can pass on questions for you to get the student perspective.
